HUMAN RIGHTS AND MIGRATION
I live in Barcelona and am an immigrant. In 2022 I started developing my first journalistic project in Spanish: a podcast about immigrants in Spain. Done by an immigrant, with focus on the human experience, and without the pity - oh poor miserable souls! - of an outsider’s point of view.
I also personally support the initiative Voluntaris empàtics de Barcelona, an organisation that helps forced migrants to integrate in their new place of life. Voluntaris empàtics organises language courses, therapy sessions and recreational activities for the refugees, as well as helping certain families with food and other resources necessary.

FEMINISM
I am a feminist and an advocate of feminism.

Since 2017 I have maintained a feminist blog in Russian, called “Patriarchy, burn!”.
It was one of the first Russian-language blogs on feminism on the Telegram platform. Since its foundation, the blog has enjoyed the audience of between 3000 and 5500 subscribers. It also attracted media attention, and I was invited to comment on issues of women’s rights and feminism by various media outlets, from the newspaper Metro to BBC Russia. In 2022 I launched a Russian-language podcast under the same name.

At Geneva Business School I supervised several Bachelor and Master theses on the topics of gender, business and female leadership.

In 2019 I collaborated as an interpreter at the conference Feminism and Drug Policy that took place in Barcelona in 2019. It was organised by AWID.
